Story
Nelly and Nadine is the unusual love story between two women who fall in love on Christmas Eve 1944 in the Ravensbrück concentration camp. Their relationship was kept secret for many years.
Nelly & Nadine (2022) is a documentary film co-written and directed by Magnus Gertten
After the German defeat, a ship full of women who survived the concentration camps was brought to Sweden. Someone filmed the event, and director Gertten previously identified two people in the film and made films about them.
They were separated but both survived
This is the third film and it is about two women – Nelly Mousset Vos and Nadine Hwang. The two women met in the Ravensbrück concentration camp and fell in love.

Years later, Nelly’s granddaughter contacted director Gertten, who made this meticulous documentary about a lesbian couple who traveled the world to be together. I thought it was an excellent movie and gave it a 10.
